Sabudana Salad

An ideal healthy recipe for fasting.                        download


  • Sago / Sabudana – ½ cup
  • Mint – ½ cup
  • Green chillies – 2
  • Buttermilk – 1 cup
  • Fruits (pineapple, orange, sweet lime, pomegranate, etc) – 1 cup
  • Raisins – 2 tbsp
  • Rock or black salt to taste


Blend chillies, buttermilk and mint together. Transfer this to a bowl, add sabudana and allow it to stand for an hour.

After an hour, steam the sabudana lightly and transfer to a bowl; allow it to cool. Add fruit and raisins.

Toss well and serve.
